NIIT Q3 net surges 36 per cent
NEW DELHI: NIIT Technologies on Thursday said it has brought down the head counts by 109 in its business process outsourcing division to cut costs, even as it reported 36% year-on-year increase in net profit at Rs 18 crore in the third quarter.
In the second quarter, the voice business contributed 63% of the BPO revenues and in the third quarter it has come down to 58%. In the third quarter, the revenues of the company were up 11% year-on-year to Rs 157.4 crore.
