L&T net up 96 per cent, IPCL 21 per cent
MUMBAI: Larsen & Toubro reported 95.89% net profit after tax of Rs 259.27 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2005 compared to Rs 132.35 crore in the corresponding period in 2004-05.
Mukesh Ambani-controlled Indian Petroche-micals Corp also reported a 20.63% rise in net profit at Rs 228 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2005 as compared to Rs 189 crore for the same period last fiscal.
Total income has increased 10.94% to Rs 2,179 crore for the third quarter of 2005.
